Identity design for community group Warwick Rocks
Warwick Rocks was just a simple hashtag among friends on Twitter #WarwickRocks to express love for their town, which grew into a movement, forming a community group to run a programme of annual events across the town. From a Chilli Festival to a Chocolate Festival, all of the events are unique and serve to promote the beautiful town and it's 200+ independent retailers to visitors.
"Warwick is truly a town like no other. There are no giant department stores, no high street chains, instead there is a town offering more than 200 independent traders all within a square mile."
The Usual Studio worked with Warwick Rocks co-founder Jack Linstead to design a varsity style identity, which is used in promo literature, stitched to baseball caps, jackets and hoodies for the team. The logo was animated for promotional videos by bespoke digital video producers Soft Focus Productions.
