Editorial design for luxury mens fashion and lifestyle magazine, Candid
The Usual Studio were invited to produce editorial design for the 11th issue of Candid Magazine, London's leading global menswear magazine. Candid is a luxury print and digital magazine, with editorials featuring news, reviews and opinions on art, music and film feature alongside lifestyle and high-end grooming. Candid is enjoyed in over 30 countries including USA, France, Germany and Australia. The magazine is stocked in newsagents including: Wardour News, Foyles, Selfridges, Barnes and Noble and on their website.
Our brief was to update the layout of the 128pp magazine so that it had a new clean, 2 column layout, wide margins, lots of space, retaining the existing beautiful fonts and colour palette. It was a real pleasure to collaborate with Farblack on the production of the magazine, the articles and photography were a joy to work with. We were excited to see the magazine hit the shops, it even got an entire window display at Wardour News in London. Issue 11 was the highest selling issue of the magazine to date and we are continuing to design and copy edit the magazine.
