Website design for #LadyGardenCampaign; getting young women everywhere talking

On a mission to change female cancers

LADY GARDEN is the first campaign by newly established charity the Gynaecological Cancer Fund – a group of women on a mission to change the future of female cancers.

With the support of TOPSHOP, the Lady Garden Campaign launched on the 1st September 2015 and immediately saw a host of famous faces including Ellie Goulding, Cara DelevingneAlexa Chung and Kylie Minogue supporting the campaign by wearing the Lady Garden statement sweatshirt and posting photos to their Instagram’s. The campaign was widely featured in the national press and online, drawing huge numbers to the campaigns social media accounts. The sweatshirts, specially designed by Black Score, were available online and in select TOPSHOP stores and sold out numerous times.

We were asked to design the website by software developers Draytus, we worked closely with both teams, using illustrations and logo by Black Score. The website works on a grid format, which pulls curated content from Instagram when the #LadyGardenCampaign hashtag is used.

The Gynaecological Cancer Fund was delighted with the work done by The Usual Studio’s designing the Lady Garden Campaign website, lead creative Charlee worked well with the whole team, contributing ideas for the rest of the campaign and offering support when we launched. We would recommend The Usual Studio to anyone looking for a creative studio who are full of ideas and a pleasure to work with.
