Charlee Sully

I started The Usual Studio because I wanted to meet clients in arts, culture and fashion who appreciated design, liked to talk ideas and wanted to work on some really exciting projects together. 10 years on I've worked on a great mix of projects; designed a brand identity for a food and film festival, fashion magazines and look books, a CD for Grammy Award winning singer Kate Nash, rebranded a top milliner, created visual identities for ironmongers, schools, street food emporiums and a restaurant among others.

Alongside my role at The Usual Studio I'm also Designer and Copy Editor for luxury menswear magazine Candid, was part of the organising team behind the Warwick Rocks Food and Film Festival, which attracted over 50,000 people and won us an award for our work. I've spent 2 years as Digital Director of The Industry an exclusive fashion business members club and been a culture gatherer for Australian global culture site Lost at E Minor. 

I work across ideas, strategy, content, programming and design. I'm a great communicator, love meeting people, reading and writing about design, culture, marketing, comms, business and technology - channelling that learning back into my work. I love sushi, tea's my cuppa of choice and BBC6 music's always on. Unlike a former housemate - I do find comedy funny.
